About Us

Bowls Healthy Eating is healthy, balanced, nutritious eating for the everyday person on the go. We opened our cafe in the heart of Raheny Village in December 2019. To say 2020 was a rollercoaster is a huge understatement but we are still here!

The whole concept is the idea of Andy Irving, a chef with nearly 20 years experience in a professional kitchen.

"Bowls Healthy Eating is fresh, vibrant food with a global influence. This is the type of food that I love to cook and that I love to eat."

Our main aim is to get the everyday person eating healthy, yet tasty, filling foods. We do not fry anything and use only wholemeal/grain rices, pastas etc. We cater for all dietary requirements and all meals can be adapted to your individual needs.

Larger size catering is also available if requested. Please get in touch to have a chat about your needs & we can do our best to accommodate you.

If you have any questions or queries, please get in touch with us and we will happily help you.

Our Specials

Alongside our regular lunch menu items, every week we have a special sandwich, special salad bowl and our stoup changes weekly too.

Stoup is a made up word (we didn’t make it up unfortunately), for us it is a cross between a soup and a stew. Nearly a full meal in itself! Our stoups are always full of vegetables, fibre and protein & always vegan. Every week there is an option to have meat in it, usually chicken, but it is cooked and stored separately. Much of the time, there are toppings added too, anything from croutons, fresh herbs, oils & spices.

Our special sandwiches and salads are pretty much the most popular things on our menu! We post them on our social media stories on a Monday evening and they nearly always get the most views! We also have them on boards displayed in our window from early on a Tuesday morning & it’s really nice to see so many people stopping on their walks to have a read of them & decide on their lunch for later in the day…or week! Doing the specials like this allows us to have fun with food & create our version of a dish - nothing that we do is traditional! For these dishes we have done meals inspired by South America, South East Asia, the Middle East, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Portugal & even did a spin on Bacon, Cabbage & Potatoes in a sandwich! We have so many people who come through our door and ask what are the specials this week & before we have even finished speaking they say “I’ll have one, thanks” or come in to order a special sandwich and then ask “Oh by the way, what is it this week?”
